would you have liked to see it? Do you think it would have gone better for Usyk? I thought Usyk won but i did think it was close.

Usyk would’ve won again. As well as Briedis fought, he was pretty inconsistent and probably wouldn’t have brought the same intensity again. There’s also not much more he could’ve done adjustment wise. He fought Usyk just as he should have but still came up short.

No point, really. I would have like to have seen Briedis more active in title defenses, instead.

It's a shame that Gassiev and Briedis never fought...

It's a bigger shame injuries ruined Gassiev's career, he looks like a shadow of his former self

Well the thing is Usyk vs Breidis was part of the Super Six Tournament and that was the Semi Final match. Usyk then had to fight Gassiev next in the Final, and then Usyk was already planning to move up to Heavyweight only having one more big fight vs Bellew at the weight.

So in regards to the timeline then no TBH and quite frankly I do get tired of seeing rematches all the time. Usyk beat Breidis without controversy in a competitive fight so let's just move on.

I think Usyk would have won much more comfortably the second time around, but I still would have been interested in seeing it given the first fight was a barnstormer.

Thanks for the correction but my thoughts are still the same regarding Usyk/Breidis rematch.

Not really. Usyk struggled early, but once he downloaded the information he needed he was clearly the superior fighter later in the fight. Rematch would have been something like 9 rounds to 3.

No, I wish he could have fought Wilder before Parker got to him though

Its practically a rule in boxing that the boxer with higher IQ/more skills does better in rematches than the counterpart that gave them a good run in the first go. I expect that to hold true here.
