Calzaghe, Nunn wasn’t at his best at 168lbs and even if he moved up in his prime, I don’t see him beating Calzaghe.

    Calzaghe on points.

Nunn was a classy performer at middleweight but combination of the Toney loss, drugs and moving up turned him from an Excellent fighter into a Very Good boxer.

Nunn barely got based Victor Cordoba in their 1st fight, seemed almost back to his old self in the return but looked poor losing to Steve Little.

Joe would just be too busy in a boring fight.

Joe wins this. Some serious handspeed from both sides in this.

Great shout! Especially considering how big they are, D.

I can't go against Joe in this one. One thing about Calzaghe was he always found a way to win.

I agree I don't see Nunn winning at stage in his career because he was too hit and miss.

But in regards to a peak Nunn if you could transfer the Nunn who beat Tate, Kalmabay, and have him fighting at the same level at 168 then I'm not sure Calzaghe wins.

When did Calzaghe ever fight a fellow Southpaw in their prime who was anywhere close to Nunn's level ?

You could say the same for Nunn, he didn’t beat any southpaws on Calzaghe’s level.
Calzaghe, with the unbeaten record, it shows he had an unbreakable will to win and could adjust in fights which seems to be overlooked by most, same with Marciano, Ward and Mayweather, people overlook the will to win and the ring IQ of these guys.

Joe for me. I think he'd hurt Nunn enough for a late stoppage.

Calzaghe on points as he’s more proven at SMW, but I don’t rate the guy. Never will.

He also had alot of weak opposition and benefitted from probably the worst Super Middleweight era of all time.

Very skillful fighter and he does have some quality wins vs Kessler, Hopkins, Eubank, 2 of those were not prime though.

    Calzaghe.

Nunn Briefly looked like he had great talent after the Kalambay fight but then started fighting welters and washed-ups, and still looked like ****. Then James Toney happened.

Surprised anyone still remembers his disappointing ass.
