The Purrity that beat Wlad fights the Liston who poleaxed Cleveland Williams. Who wins?

 

Idk who the other guy but Liston wins relatively easily. Probably within 1 or 2. Actually, he would probably win before round 1 even starts tbh.

How do you know Purrity loses when you don't know who he is? Purrity could be a 7'0 300 muscular pounds with the speed of a welterweight Ray Robinson and the punching power of 2 George Foremans.

I think he'd know Puritty if Ross was like that, lol.

But yeah, in most cases, think of SL like Seamus with a focus on one guy.

Purrity did beat Wlad so you have to give him a shot against Liston.

 

Seems like Klitschko-Liston would’ve made more sense.

 

Ross Purity is Liston if he was actually good. Purrity in 1, Patterson level beatdown

 

Liston would beat Puritty if he fought like not-Liston. Getting into the trenches and slugging with Ross would be a dismal route to take for Liston and would in all probability result in getting him knocked out. On the other hand Sonny did have an excellent jab and some genuine skills, and Puritty was a slow-tier heavyweight with a low workrate. Liston could totally outbox Ross and win wide on points if he took that approach.

 

I like Purrity but I watched his fight against Chris Byrd recently, and he was completely baffled by Byrd. Liston is just too good, barring he runs out of gas or ruins his shoulder like against Clay, he wins this easily.

 

Buddy… Liston was good.
