I don't think he will be properly challenged until he goes to 126; Rey Vargas' length may pose him problems, but I would still back Inoue to knock him out. Stylistically I don't think Inoue will have any problems with Angelo Leo; above all I would like to see Inoue vs Nick Ball, which in my mind would be a barnstormer.

Inoue absolutely coasted until deciding when he felt like fighting. The definition of carrying an opponent. You could tell within 30 seconds of Round 6 he decided he wanted to end the fight. The plan was clearly to just be cautious early then hit accelerator.

Clearly Naoya Inoue could give a KO in the 2nd rounds today but he just make a sparring.

Doheny was courageous but you don't win a fight against the Monster with only that.

Bradley really thinks Inoue is better on the inside than the outside. Who is paying this guy?

I don't think Inoue looked bad. TJ is a very tough, crafty and experienced southpaw and he can crack a bit.

Did he get caught too much? Yes but only after tasting TJ's power and he wasn't too worried about it after that and he just started walking him down.

I think it's becoming clearer 126 is his ceiling though and he might even possibly come unstuck trying to become undisputed up there.

The initial rounds reminded me of Crawford-Madrimov, with tha letter showcasin' sum moderate success by feintin' and disruptin the opponent rythm but not disposin of the necessary firepower to keep him away.

TJD won the third and/or fourth on every judge's card (one gave him both).

Can we all agree Takei-Higa was the true gem of today?

Not a hater, just ...lacking perspective.

Doheny is huge and fought a difficult style to look good against. We're not used to seeing Inoue look anything but effortlessly dominant, but this was still an impressive performance. He got the better of Doheny for the majority of the six completed rounds and was starting to come on with hurtful combinations - and got rid of his man by dint of smashing his internal organs.
