Agreed, training as you know is almost ticking over last week of a camp for fighters top end of a bill.

But with a virus and it seems he again needs to do a big weight cut he simply knows he can't do it.

His camp will have been wrapped up now and he’ll just be ticking over. He pulled out with a week to go, why not wait a few days to see if the ‘virus’ clears up?

All the signs are saying Liam Smith is now well and truly washed up. It's a good fight lost from the card but then again, if this is a completely washed version of Beefy then it's not such a good fight anyway and I wouldn't really like to watch him take a beating off the pretender Josh Kelly. Billy Nelson was saying Lewis Crocker would step up to 160 and take Beefy's place at short notice. I wouldn't mind Mr Excellent Turkey getting that one made instead.

im hoping Smith has just enough left to get a late stoppage on Kelly, who for me just farts about in the ring, plays with his food and is more show than go.

Billy Nelson on you tube saying Lewis Crocker prepared to step in for Liam. It's a better fight. Not that I think it's coming off.

Doubt Booth will.take any late replacement unless they're absolutely garbage and Turki ain't paying for that.
Jeffers also offered to come to 160 for him when it was announced Beefys out.

Based on all the noise that come out his last fight; if he isn't ready, it's best he pulls out for whatever reasons and doesn't come to take a pay check and complain afterwards.

I find Liam Smith really insufferable.

said no excuses for eubank defeat but has done nothing but make excuses!

he never fancied this fight because Kelly could make him look really bad and the virus is basically fact he’s been unprofessional, can’t make the weight and 1 more defeat he knows he is done for good.

Same. He goes on about how he’s this honest no-nonsense bloke but he’s a proper whiner.

Ishmael Davis stepping in. Very good replacement on short notice.

I suspect Smith quite the opposite to popular opinion on here was extremely professional and pulled out far enough out to allow a replacement. After his last performance he needs to be as close to perfect as he can, and whilst hard work largely done the last week Is weight cut which ill is not advisable
