*** Technically, between Bradley vs. Pacquiao II and Crawford vs. Porter you have the Lucian Bute vs. Edison Miranda thread at 1,549 replies - but it started out as just a preview/prediction thread and was put up 2 months before the fight. It does contain a few pages of what amounted to an on-the-fly RBR by committee, but eh, it already had a hundred page head start before the bell rang so this one could maybe slot in at #59 (sliding everything behind it down by 1) but would need to get a pretty big asterisk.

Thirteen Canelo fights and twelve Joshua fights seem to top the list.

Absolute dominance by Usyk who holds 3 of the top 4 places.

    Interesting tidbits:

    1. Canelo Álvarez reigns supreme (in terms of engagement) - #8, #13, #17, #20, #37-38, #45, #52, #59, #64, #75, #79 and #93, that last one as yesterday versus Berlanga ringing in his 13th appearance on the list.

    2. Anthony Joshua is just behind Canelo, with a dozen: #2-4, #10-11, #15, #27, #30-31, #67, #72 and #100 - meaning one more addition will bump him down to 11, still good for a comfortable second place. Joshua has a record four top-10 instances as headliner.

    3. Pacquiao has eight entries on the top hundred - occupying #6, #29, #49, #57, #90-91, and #97-98.

    4. Mayweather is tied with his rival at eight - #12, #14, #16, #22, #29, #38, #53, and #61.
Funny enough, the Mayweather vs. Pacquiao event at one time shattered records and held the #1 spot - but has now fallen to a mere 29.

    5. Oleksandr Usyk appears seven times, at slots #1, #4, #5, #18, #24, $65 and #94. Worth noting that he is the only person appearing thrice in our top 5, with all three of those ahead of Canelo's highest entry.

    6. Tyson Fury appropriately is sandwiched between the man that dethroned him and the man against whom the bulk of his legacy was carved going 2-0-1; in a three way tie with seven instances on the list. His are #1, #7, #21, #26, #34, #54, and #72.

    7. Deontay Wilder also has seven, #2, #5, #7, #21, #54, #80 and #82.

    8. Joseph Parker keeps up the strong HW representation with five: #2, #10, #23, #32, and #96.

    9. Dereck Chisora, surprisingly for a non-champ, has managed four: #18, #23, #34, and #96.

    10. Tim Bradley also has four, distributed at the low, middle and high end - #6, #56-57, and #90.

    11. Carl Froch notched four of his own; #44, #73, #87, and #89.

    12. Dillian Whyte makes the Four Club too - barely. He's got #32, #35, #63, and #100.

    13. Gennady Golovkin, the last homegrown HBO Boxing superstar, sits at four with #20 #33 #55 and #64.

There's a many-ways tie with 3 - including Bud Crawford, Sergey Kovalev, Devin Haney, Miguel Cotto, Vasyl Lomachenko, JMM, Andre Ward, Errol Spence,

Cool to see them recent fight heavy. Most forums are dead but ESB seems to be growing.

Not sure how that's germane? This is just raw data on, as stated, replies per thread. Had it been about pages, then maybe the 15 post to a page limit would bear mentioning.

IMO, as stated before, the only makeable bout that could break the 5k barrier is Usyk vs. Fury II - and it'll be at least a good few years before something else can.

If AJ beats Dubois and Usyk beats Fury, the trilogy fight will do it as well imo.

For Usyk to have 3 of the top 4 positions is insane but it shows how popular he really is, especially considering he's never been the A side.

Once upon a time a thousand replies automatically meant top 15. Now it might not rate top 150.

AJ also in 3 of the top 4. I'm guessing the forum is just more busy these days as the more recent fights seem to have much more replies.

Difficult to extrapolate much that's meaningful from this other than the forum having grown over time, and heavyweights being more popular than lower weights (and the things you renumerated in the follow-up post), but it's a great post. Thanks for doing the job nobody asked you to do, it's really interesting reading.
