Mostly agree with Mod-Mania. Johnson could do a lot of the things that Kalambay could, but he was never as consistent from round to round as Sumbu (or McCallum) nor as good a ring general. His fights tended to be super-close even against lesser talents than McCallum. I think that the result would be similar to McCallum vs. Graham. Johnson wouldn't take some of the risks that hurt Graham in that fight, but he also wouldn't be as likely to blister McCallum with the rapid-fire combos that Graham did at points. He'd have rounds when he'd look smooth and McCallum would have trouble catching him (same as he did against Toney), and he'd also have rounds when he wouldn't land much. Still, Johnson has the skill to box with McCallum and the speed and defense to cause him serious problems. This is a fight that he could win, but I'd pick McCallum to take it by a couple of points in a decision that some people would disagree with.
