You can easily see Miguel winking at Evangelista at that point and during Bayless' count. Miguel's face was a mess and he was ducking and looking down, trapped at one corner ( when Manny said that the fight was over), then he retreated to the opposite corner and took a knee without taking a single punch. Miguel didn't want any more of that.

Great another mexican to discredict Cottos heart good. They are the only one in the world to do that. thats why borikuas and mexicans can't get into a good converastion of boxing between each other. They are always hate.

No one is hating, and come on why were PR TITO fans calling DLH the chicken after the TITO fight?

It was obvious Cotto wanted to quit he knew he was beat nothing worng with that. Cintron did the same thing but Cotto fans called him a quitter thats not fair either

Yes. When it was stopped, Cotto had lost the will to fight. When his uncle was coming on the steps, Cotto's expression remained blank regardless of how you interpret his head movement.

I reckon he did want the fight to stop. Whic was a very smart move, why should he be beaten to a pulp if he was never going to win anyway?
I think loads of fighters have done the same thing but by just staying down when they could easily get up. And most of them are probably right to stay down, if they have been knocked down more than once, are way behind on the cards and late in the fight. Whats the point?

The guy had nothing left,he looked at his girlfriend to see if she could throw up the way Hatton's girl did, nothing happened,he then looked at his uncle twice.

Cotto will never forget that night,he doesnt even want a rematch

yes I have once a guy has met a challenge and been beaten I move on I only go on and on about duckers and guys who run from Challenges, or are overhyped having fought no one. The day Calzaghe or Kessler lose you will never here the end of it. But to go on and on cause your a Boricua hater when you know Cotto had the balls to face Margo has obvious boxing skills, fought a competitive fight and lost is a load of ****!!!!

He looked at his corner and shook his head :-( Now the question is was he saying :-( at fighting on, or was he saying :-( dont stop it. We will never know for sure, but going from the fact that Cotto went down that last time without being hit I would have to say it was the first :-( meaning he didnt want to fight on
