That's him putting pressure on the board ahead of the hearing and judication. He does this all the time. He might not have fought in the UK for 2yrs since the +ve tests, but he has had fights and possibly trained/sparred with BBBoC licensed trainers/boxers in that time, both of which are prohibited under a proper ban. Never mind a real ban is 4 yrs .. only a "PROVEABLE accidental ingestion" (yeah, I know) is 2 yrs ... so even 2 years might not be from the date of the last +ve test. Hmmmm, we'll see ....
Benn and Hearn have done everything they possibly could to try and bully the board and ignore what they should have been doing after testing positive - twice - and let's not forget he tested positive twice. Hopefully it all blows up in their faces at the upcoming hearing.
I notice Warren softening his chat about Benn and said he was out with Nigel, Conor and Hearn the other night. Frank is still saying Conor has things to sort with the board but like any other promoter, he’d take the pound note putting on a fight for him later.
