Can AJ do anything different in a rematch?

Isn't that his job to spot and fix mistakes that his boxer is doing?

The boxer has to listen and take the advice. Once the bell rings the boxer's gonna do what he's gonna do.

And also correct those mistakes in the corner as he sees them? What was he even there for then?

I've no idea as I wasn't in his training camp.

I don’t know what to say on the bout in any great detail as I just finished it, it looked like a confidence issue after round 1… AJ fought like someone who didn’t want to win and Dubios just kept whacking his guard, that moves you, you can’t throw back if you don’t roll the shot and it takes something out of you…. which was smart on DDDs part but it just seems neither guy is capable of using his shoulders to take a shot off and AJ doesn’t look like he knows why to circle right… No matter how many times he got caught AJ was still making for his left into the line of fire with no plan just running into the right hand - DDD puts a lot of weight on his front leg when he throws the jab which is why he hits so hard with it however…. his right leg is quite a bit behind his body in that position after a jab like that, so you can’t throw the hardest right. AJ should’ve IMO been taking his chances working off DDDs jab. But I’d need to rewatch the bout maybe I’m getting things wrong.

He stands too tall with his chin up. To be fair your technique can fall apart after you've been hurt and I only watched the highlights. He did well to get to the fifth.

How do I know since I wasn't in his camp. For all I know Davison could have told him to drop his hands, keep his chin up in the air, move straight backwards.

When I watched the fight I saw AJ backing up in straight lines a bit, YES you don’t walk backwards in straight lines but for Daniel… you also don’t walk forward in straight lines.
