    Hes only 34 ffs!

Matchroom held a NxtGen earlier this year with Raw,young fresh 34 year old Craig Richards

Plenty of time for young warrior AJ to comeback

34 isn't young in boxing, come on I know you know this already. I'm a fan of Joshua, always have been but he rubs people up the wrong way so if people wanna give him some stick he deserves it. He was sticking his tounge out and laughing a few seconds before he got ktfo so of course people are going to have stuff to say.

No one is saying he has to retire they just saying they don't see the point of having a rematch with Dubois.
However saying that I personally would love to see a rematch, this fight got me and even my kids hyped!!!!

If Joshua won this glorified vacant title, Hearn roared that he was right up there with the other legends of the sport Ali and Lewis.

This shyte is why tonight is a good night for boxing fans who can smell bull a mile away.

In HW boxing when your chin has been cracked it’s pretty much downhill from there. Look at Joyce’s rapid decline as an example. Looked to have one of the ATG punch resistance and now his chin has completely gone. Joshua has taken some heavy punishment. Against Ruiz and tonight he’s taken sustained beatings because he actually has heart and doesn’t quit. That will take its toll and the finish tonight was devastating.

I detect a hint of sarcasm in your post but if not sarcasm then he’s defo at the stage where he has to think about his last fight now.

I remember all the “he’s only young” posts about Hughie Fury back in the day.

He should be growing into manhood soon, right? Can’t wait to see his prime.

Ben Davison sprinting into the ring like an angel descending from heaven to cradle AJ in his arms and make the moment about himself I mean what courage, what compassion from Davison. How could AJ possibly go wrong with a team like that around him.

I’d like to see him retire now. He’s had a brilliant run. The only other fight I see left for him is vs Wilder. Or go on a world tour and knock out a few cans. Go to Africa have a mega fight there, go to China and fight Zhang (no gimme) etc.

AJ getting used by everyone. Hearn running around going on about a rematch, the ref virtually letting him get beaten up in there before reluctantly waving it off, as you mentioned, Davidson running in like an idiot making it all about him to secure himself another payday, Bellew going on about how great AJ is and if he fought like he did against an MMA novice, then it could have been so much different, just to stay on AJs good side, the idiot shills from matchroom that come on here to tell us that AJ is the best ever just to get their payday from him, Sky Sports going on about how humble he is, just to stay in his good books, the list goes on and on.

No one cares about him at matchroom and it's quite sad seeing him get used like a lot of boxers do.

Lets be honest too AJ is simply chinny. You can't keep trotting him out there against all these killers as he just gets older and not expect this to happen to him yet again. It will. Nobody needs to see more of him struggling to crawl up from the canvas with his brains scrambled again. He's had a lot of damaging fights and now he's getting very close into that territory where he will be slurring his words in his 40's and 50's if this continues.

I completely agree. It's extremely sad to see, but boxing is a business that is managed by unscrupulous people.

Boxing promoters basically don't care about the boxers. They only care about making as much money as possible for themselves.

If you ask Eddie Hearn, he probably thinks AJ has 5 - 6 years left in the tank.

Put him in with Joe Joyce. Promote it as "The Battle of the Bruised Egos".
