    Davidson is a good coach, he just **** the bed in the big moment. To tell your fighter to essentially go for the KO R5 is horrible advice.

    AJ will go running back to Derek James. James had AJ on a defensive yet effective style. Yet for some reason AJ despises American trainers and basically fired Derek without letting him know, saying Ben was just temporary, etc... This pride will get him KTFO again, because defensive is not his style at all and it's obvious he doesn't like fighting that way. He might as well retire or expect to get KO'd by somebody again. Wish Zhang would have gotten his chance first before DDD.

    He should've sticked with Rob McCracken. I liked him better against Wlad, Pov and Takam.

    He would need a translator, but he would learn to keep his hands high

    I honestly think it's too little and too late to change his flaws. No trainer can help him take punches

    It took a while for Aj to grow confident following ruiz stoppage. This was a much worse hammering

    I know he won't, but in all sincerity he should retire

    He's a rich man with his brain in tact. He doesn't need to take more heavy shots like Saturday night. I get he has an ego and his pride but if I was family, I would begging him to stop

    A fighter with AJ's experience, amateur background, backing and age shouldn't really need molly coddling for a trainer, the best fighters are able to think for themselves and make spontaneous adjustments in the ring.

    Just look at the type of guys AJ surrounds himself with:-

    Eddie Hearn is an ass kisser
    Kugan Cassius a bum chum
    Ben Davidson a pushover
    Stormzy a fanboy
    Freddie Cunningham a yes man
    Skinz his spit bucket
    True Geordie a cheerleader

    He expected Robert McCracken to follow suit and be his back slapper, but when Robert McCracken didn't follow suit he fired him.

    Robert Garcia had too much Mexican pride and got fired.

    Derrick James didn't wanna suck up either got fired. So he hired a pushover in Ben Davidson.

    The main job of a trainer is to critique, and AJ doesn't seem like he can take criticism. It don't matter who trains AJ, if AJ doesn't let go of the arrogance and humble himself to a teacher he won't learn or improve. All great trainers had some sort of a father -son, Commander-Soldier, Teacher-Student sorta relationships with their fighters and AJ doesn't look like he can accept such a relation. Dubois on the other hand looks open to listening.
