As someone already commented, if the belts get dispersed and someone like Charles Martin gets hold of one, yes, maybe AJ can be a "world champion" again.

A more interesting question is: can the loyal mugs be persuaded again that AJ is "the best heavyweight in the world" again? Or even top 4?
The mugs have shown astounding loyalty and gullibility over the years, so I wouldn't write it off right now.

I think Eddie H is more interested in taking Joshua down the cash out road, get him in one or two big fights he's bound to lose, hoping AJ remains valuable name to pad the records of better newer fighters.
Rather than another bum of the month club.

Also: can Tony Bellew **** off now?

Tony is embarrassing when bigging up Aj. I honestly thought he waw going to cry post Dubois

Spent more time trying to remind everyone how devastating a puncher Aj is and what not, rather than giving Dubois his due

Chisora is another who mega hypes Aj like he is a combination of Ali/Foreman

Aj is not useless, but stevie wonder can see he is manufactured, especially since Ruiz and looks amazing against guys not willing to throw fire at him. Have said the same for years on here that he is a great front runner and athlete but his defensive skills and i.q are quite basic,

How much you think Matchroom would be willing to pay the WBC to create another nonsense belt for AJ like the franchise champion

How would Aj do in your Undisputed book? Lol
I would buy the sequel if you humilate him and fast eddie during some scenarios :)

AJ was brave in that fight with Dubois, not seen him that determined to survive a fight since Klitschko. Problem is his heart is writing checks his chin cant cash.

If I do an update in the future I will put him in, also in the intro I do discuss him against Ali and Tyson both of which he would lose.

However he is a big guy with some skills and power so against a Dempsey, Schmeling, Frazier or Marciano I'd place him the favourite but against most of the other's he'd get beat and sometimes smashed worse than against Dubois can you imagine AJ crapping his pants with Foreman after him

Of course he can, but is it very likley? No.

He's 34 years old, everyone knows his weakness now and before his last fight he fought handpicked opponents which where perfect for him stylewise. So yes he always has the punchers chance but he's got to work on his composure and fundamentals and at this stage of his career is it too late?

Does he beat Usyk in a rematch? I highly doubt it.
Does he beat Dubois in a rematch? I highly doubt it.
Does he beat Fury if Fury wins vs Usyk? I highlt doubt it.

The first thing people need to realise is Anthony Joshua can knock out any bi-ped, any time, anywhere, if luck is in his favour.

He can beat Dubois but he isn't ever going to rise above being 3rd or 4th best in the HW division ever again.

Hes already World Champion. You didnt notice it but he won with Dubois the belt of the WGCBA : World Glass Chinned Boxers Association. And if he faces him again he will defend it in an amazing way.

He can't be a champion again because he's never been the champion.

He's been a belt-holder, like Charles Martin or Bermane Stiverne. It does matter, to me anyway.

AJ will never be The Champion. He can definitely be a beltholder again.
