Janibek has a lazier workrate than GGG as well

Can't imagine GGG letting Andrei get away with all that messy foul crap on the inside either. More killer instinct

I was there last night Janibek let Andrei off the hook after the second round.

Janibek could move up to 68 and beat Canelo IMO

Exactly what I was thinking. That straight left is an express train. But he's one dimensional compared to GGG who had an entire arsenal of punches to draw one. Golovkin knew how to create pressure with his footwork and didn't let guys that he'd hurt get away.

He seemed to lack an effective Jab and was not good at maintaining range or distance

Obviously some credit should go to his opponent But he really didn't have a Sophisticated game plan or approach I feel Triple G would have handled him No problem. also Gennady would never play with his food like Janebek did in the second round where it seemed like all he had to do was throw a couple more combinations and the fight would be over

Janibek drops his lead too much, too often. He's afflicted by the American virus, so is their entire national team, that's why they took zero gold medals in Paris 2024.

He looks amazing against limited orthodox boxers standing in front of him waiting to get popshotted, but I see him struggling against a southpaw with a good jab and against orthodox pressure fighters who come to fight.

I think hamza sheeraz should take this fight ASAP, I see him abusing his better stick against Janibeks inactive lead hand and comfortably outboxing him over 12.

Thats a good goal, but there are some monsters up there at 168lbs. Morrel, Mbili and Benevidez. If he can go up and beat Plant, then he can make a case for a Canelo fight.

Based on the highlights, it looks like GGG would have crushed that dude, face down.

Janibek continues to look dangerous. The question is if he’s able reach the same success and popularity as GGG. Definitely not as exciting to watch but still packs a deadly punch that’s reminiscent to GGG.

Needs to get chin checked first. GGGs chin was GOAT level, sure as sure.

He doesn't have Golovkins good looks, it will be more difficult to market him.

Janibek, just another fighter on a long list that would beat up Canelo easily but lose the decision to corruption.
