I would say the film quality (= lack there of) and the high angle perspective from behind the corner takes away the effect for some.

Damn shame that the film quality isn’t better - it’s been cleaned up a bit but you can only do so much given its original quality.

Louis looked like super man in there against the giant Primo - so powerful and perfect in his executions.

Carnera courageously took his licks in there and it was more than fair for the big fella to say enough is enough.

 

McGirt vs Brown was a masterful performance in distance, pace, balance and countering, from the outside and in the pocket. A real old school boxing lesson. Both get underrated these days.
