Fury took the lead for the first (and last) time in round 7
Usyk evened things up in round 8 and won all the remaining rounds.

In fact, Usyk scored an uncredited KO in round 9, but was deprived by a dodgy ref.


The rematch is anybody's guess, but as in the first fight, I'm leaning slightly towards Usyk winning again.

 

Disagree, Usyk won the first 3 rounds on my scorecard, then Fury won the next 4 before Usyk took over.

 

This is spot on my card, with the only difference is I ahd round 3 also being a close swing round, as midway through that is where Fury started to find his timing and was touching Usyk as he came in. Round 7 was the inverse, with Usyk making adjustments to nullify the uppercut and Fury starting to blow / gas

Fury looked good for some of those rounds. He just gassed late, he had to use a lot more energy than he is used to.

I dont think fury is as shot as Joshua, if fury was past it he wouldnt have landed so many clean shots on Usyk in the mid rounds, that means his timing is still there, nobody else has landed on Usyk like that. I dont think fury won the fight like he claims but he did pretty well people are acting like he got schooled since it was an upset.

The Championship fight was over 12 rounds, debating who won what rounds or part of rounds postfight is inconsequential, the only words that matter are Buffers "The winner by split decision from Ukraine Oleksandr Usyk"

 

It was first time, that Usyk was lost in the ring in the middle of the fight. Don't deny that.

 

I remember on the megathread the most cocky Fury haters bricking it during rounds 5/6

Usyk may go in as the bookies favourite but he's far from unbeatable

 

I have no problem with people scoring the bout for Usyk (I scored it for Usyk close) but when people use blatantly false hyperbole like this it has to be called out.

Rounds 1 and 2 relatively clear for Usyk
Round 3 very close for Usyk
Rounds 4, 5, 6 very clear for Fury
Round 7 relatively clear for Fury

Obviously in rounds 8-11 Usyk clearly pulled ahead and won all those rounds decisively which is what won him the decision. Up until round 7 though it was a close fight that a majority of people had Fury ahead in, and that's an aggregate score of almost 1000 scorers on BoxRec, so no one can claim any bias.

I'm not sure why some Usyk fans play down Fury's performance so much. As an Usyk fan surely it's better if you claim - as most people believe - that Usyk won a close competitive fight against a fellow great? Instead of acting like Fury was completely dominated and was never competitive, in which case it would appear you believe Usyk had an unimpressive easy route to undisputed against overmatched easy touches, which plays down Usyk's achievements.

 

After 4 5 6 I expected Usyk to get stopped it was looking rough but Fury slowed down and Usyk had a 2nd wind to win.

Hold on a minute you said the only debatable rounds were rounds 11 and 12 yet you scored the 2nd even so how does that make sense ? Obviously the 2nd round must be debatable aswell if you scored it even ?

All you've done is scored every somewhat close round to Fury and gave none to Usyk hence you're biased.

The 1st round Usyk won he was the effective aggressor landing body shots as Fury was clowning in the round.

The 7th round was another Usyk round as he started to turn the tables after a bad period between rounds 4-6.

When you say "Fury put on a clinic" you instantly lose any creditability for me because there's no unbiased boxing fan that could say that.

 

Yes, but I have already answer this 2-3 times...ITS NOT PUNCH COUNT...it is that the punches cannot be distributed in a way that makes Fury win...ONCE AGAIN...

Usyk landed more punches, he landed about 30 more power punches, he dominated punches landed and power punches landed in a majority of rounds, and he scored the knockdown.

What in the world is your point? You have said exactly what I have said. There is no metric by which Fury won the fight.
