It needed 15 old school rounds. Both were good for it.

Yes, the 116-112 scorecard was a bit wide. I think a draw would have been fair, or one point win by either.

His age and inactivity played a part. He is past his prime

I did not score it the same way, I had Bivol winning, and, I'm not upset about the decision. There weren't many rounds that were clear wins either way. Definitely a close fight and difficult to score rounds.

Anyone who says "Robbery" is wrong, and that's coming from someone who scored it for Bivol.

A draw is the most we can give to beterbiev.

Somewhere Marvin Hagler is looking down and smiling. Bivol tried to pull a Leonard. First the age out. Second the running and then the last second flurries. **** that noise. Right man won.

It was a decent fight - not a classic by any means because I didn’t think it really ever fully got going. Both fighters fought a little bit too much within themselves.

I scored it 114-114. Could have gone either way, by 1 or 2 points tops.

Close fight so no robbery. I very much dispute the "Beterbiev was well up" cards, which can only be explained by bias. Only Beterbiev sweeping the championship rounds made it close for me.

Boxing is hit and not get hit.

Bivol did that far more effectively than Beterbiev did outside of like 2 rounds…

Even in the rounds where Bivol was overly defensive, he hardly got hit, and answered back with COMBINATIONS any time he did get hit….

I didnt feel like the fight was all that close, I was actually surprised how much it seemed Bivol was in control - although I did think he may get stopped in the 10th-11th when Beter had his best work.

He barely landed more. Barely. The fight was close.

116-112 is only 1 round off what you think it should be... 8-4 or 7-5.. not that big a difference.

I agree with the judge who had it 116-112. Bivol just wasn't consistent enough over the second half of the fight. Congrats, AB!
