Why was Bivol so inactive in the later rounds ? HE said that he needs to win every single round and every minute if possible.

How can you give rounds to someone, who is not active and all he is doing is circling around the ring for 2.5 minutes ? 30 seconds of activity will give you a round ?

So is defense, but end of the day what scores most is clean effective punching which Bivol was much better with

    You know what?

F*** what the judges think. We saw two legends fighting each other to a standstill - that is all that really matters.

Because he was exhausted and hurt in the championships rounds. He was up going into them though, since Beterbiev spent many rounds landing not a single punch until the final 10 seconds.

That doesn't answer the question. Try to stay focused.

It tells you they know how to get the most out of their fighter!

How many times have we seen a lack of urgency in a corner cost a fighter - even most recently if Fury had been told he needed a KO he might have gone at Usyk more...

How many more clean? That's the point I'm making. There were also plenty of replays where Bivol would land a combination and we see the replay and out of the 4, one lands clean, the other is grazing and the others were missed. Neither fighter landed at a high percentage. Even if we agree Bivol landed more cleaner shots, it wasn't by much. Judges were looking at Beterbiev being far more aggressive in trying to make the fight. That was the deciding factor. When all things are relatively close, the one making the fight usually gets the nod. I am someone who scored the fight a draw.

same as if a fighter doesnt get hit at all, and just drops. if he cant beat the 10 count, hes out. there is no scoring blow in either scenario.
