I'm leaning more towards Bivol in the rematch. Bivol passed the pressure test it will change his preparation. Beterbiev can only do more of the same next time out.

Wilder was sleeping guys who weighed 20+ pounds bigger than him with one shot. Beterbiev has different power to where he doesn't need to punch hard to hurt you but he isn't putting grown men to sleep like Wilder was.

Good point. It seems like watching the fight Bivol is the one who could make more adjustments the next time around than Beterbiev. He lost the fight IMO when he got tired late. Maybe after going 12 he feels like he doesn't need to move as much. He could be more active as well. He mentioned Beterbiev having power but not hitting as hard as people claim. Maybe knowing that will make him throw more. At the same time, throwing more opens himself up more to Beterbiev. Part of the reason Beterbiev had issues tracking Bivol was the constant lateral movement. If that wasn't there, he doesn't have as hard of a time IMO.

Nah its beterbiev fight to lose at this point. Hes still very good with underated skills but when bivol was fresh he had a hard time catching up to him with his feet. beterbiev paced himself at the right moments better than bivol. There more of a learning curve for bivol this fight than for beterbiev.

Bivol needs to set the pace of the fight in a rematch.

before i decided what i need to change technically, or strategically in bivol for a rematch, i would need to know what won biev the match. i still dont. i would just work on his stamina and to punch more when he steps to an angle and has arthur out of position. also, initiate more, tease the counter less.

I agree. Thought Beterbiev edged it but he was quite passive, perhaps not wanting to leave himself open to Bivol's counters?

Beterbiev can definitely head hunt a bit less
    Target the body more.

Everytime he hit the body Bivol looked vulnerable. He just needs to mix up his punch selection and Bivol is in real trouble.

Beterbiev does better in a rematch mostly because Bivol fought a near-perfect fight. He rarely got caught and used distance and movement well...he punched up and down and never stuck around after punching. The reason Bivol lost is that judges dont have access to slow-mo and replays...lots of Beter's work that moved Bivol actually didnt land flush.

Bivol wasnt active enough and conceded too much ground. I still felt Bivol edged it but it wasnt a bad call. Draw mightve been for best but hope we get a rematch

Yes. Wilder has a got haymaker punch and thats literally it. Beter seems to hurt with every punch. Not to mention Beter hurt legitimate fighters and champs while Wilder stopped old man Ortiz twice and hurt Fury a few times, but he's always been chinny...Wilder had absolutely nothing for Parker or Zhang...tough to say Wilder's power wouldve ever bothered either fighter

    Where exactly?

Both had fairly clear faces with no major damage, after the fight.

HE said it himself, he was "sleeping" in the first half of the fight, that sometimes happens to him. Just watch Deines fight

Beterbiev lost the first fight 8-4, but he may very well KO Bivol in the rematch, or may still get his head boxed off.
