Beterbiev has to be the absolute worst case of receny bias that there is. He’s fought one great fighter (who many think he should have lost to) and now he’s stopping ATG heavyweights….

Prior to this, I thought it was Inoue.

Oh wow, poll results that actually make sense for once. 100% of respondents say Frazier wins (96% by KO) ^_^

Haven't watched the fight but it's my understanding he was "pressing" Bivol, saw a comment on another thread about Bivol fighting off the back foot, that's just all wrong for Frazier, Frazier will welcome him inside and destroy him once he's there, the only thing his "devastating" uppercut is going to do is get Frazier smirking and smoking hotter, and let's not pretend he can actually fight fight for 15 rounds like Frazier was capable of

Joe Frazier had a lot to do with Quarry being cut in 1969.I suggest you take
    time to watch the fight.

Where's the fight that makes me think Quarry, Bonavena, Ellis or Chuvalo is definitely better than Beterbiev? I have no idea what fight that is.

There is no way to prove who would win. I'm not going to get into a discussion about it. But Beterbiev is physically stronger than Frazier, he is a better boxer, he uses both hands well, he lives clean and trains hard, but we have never seen him against smallish heavyweights like JF beat. If they could fight and the odds favored JF I'd definitely bet on AB.

It is surprising that so many on this board are trying to tear down a 40 year old man. A 40 year old man who beat the other best fighter in his weight class. And, a man who is definitely better skilled, bigger, and stronger than Rocky Marciano who many of you would pick to beat JF. Before any of you get upset that AB is physically stronger than JF and RM, watch AB use an Olympic bar (45 lb.) like a baton, watch him do bench presses with 110 pound dumb bells, watch his push up routine. I have always liked JF but AB might be too much for him.

Most importantly we have never seen him against a fighter half the caliber of Frazier or Marciano, not some skilled athlete that spends too much time playing with resistance bands and weights, but fighters that beat the absolute sh*t out of each other from the opening bell until it's over and have 15 to cover if it doesn't get stopped earlier

People like to say guys like Frazier and Marciano aren't technically skilled, but none of the modern guys have ever survived fights like the ones the older guys were in, Bivol and Beterbiev aren't spending the next few weeks in a hospital, they're not going to kill or be killed in the ring, they are going to participate in a sports competition

Remember when Jeff Page knocked down Beterbiev about five years ago? Frazier would murder that strong, little, slow guy.

Maybe Beterbiev vs. Chuvalo would make a good thread. Nah.. Chuvalo would roll over Beterbiev.

Mind if I ask you a question ? Where's the fight which shows Beterbiev could stop Jerry Quarry or George Chuvalo,or even beat them on points ?
