When the Rematch is Better...Was it Ever?

There have been good ones as others have listed but it's probably down to people knowing how the other fights and making necessary adjustments so you get more defending going on.

Bivol Beterbiev should be interesting because of the contrasting styles. They both need to do more of what they were doing. Bivol more evading, slipping and counter punching, and punch output. Beterbiev more closing ring and punches.

 

I can’t believe I’m the first one that say Gatti vs Ward, best rematch ever!

 

Many rematches occured because the first fight was close. So the bar was already set fairly high.

 

I thought that the first Gatti Ward fight was by far and away the best of the 3

 

Kostya Tszyu v Sharmba Mitchell 2 was sweet after Mitchell kept claiming the knee injury was the only reason he lost the first fight then he completely got destroyed in the rematch.

 

Yeah, agreed, the second fight was better. A bit more competitive.

 

Claiming that Usyk vs Fury I was good is insane. It's a kind of a ydksab kinda thing. I mean what on earth is special about seeing a good heavyweight dismantle a complete moron? Only reason it was remotely competitive was Fury's size

 

Pep-Saddler II. First fight Saddler brutally ko'd Pep. The sequel....Pep put on a master class and won a UD.

 

Really??! I think you might be the only one that think so since they ended up fighting 3 times. All 3 are great though but my favorite is fight 2.
