Usyk is a once in 30 years talent. There is no one promising on the horizon who could fill usyks shoes
Surov will probably never be Usyks level but he's one of the most naturally talented heavyweight ametures I've ever seen...
Imma wait for @CST80 to tell us like it is. Dude got Usyk right before he was a blip on most people's horizons ...
Good amateur does not always equal a solid pro. Kelcie Banks is the last that I remember as an example.
He's got some speed, footwork and a jab. A good base. But he seems clueless in the clinch and he needs to keep his hands up or he's gonna get switched off because he doesn't have much head movement.
No one knows anything, man. I remember hearing Howard Cosell commentating during a Tyson amateur fight and saying he was built in a way where he could never be fast and Kovalev telling his trainer he worried he wasn't a hard enough puncher to make it as a pro.
Nice footwork but won't work in the pros for 12 rounds + he's very young and his speed/stamina will decline slightly and you can see he was already getting winded in this match. His punching feels a lil sloppy to me, maybe it's because he moves a lot but needs to sharpen/tighten up. I also don't like how he kind of just leaves his head in the air.
