Tszyu has a decent resume for sure, but he's definitely not creme of the crop.

 

I'm not going to make any excuses for Tszyu. He got pounded with overhand rights and lefts from every angle and he was obviously not the better fighter. That being said, sometimes a boxer is cognitively damaged by a punch or two and is unable to snap out of it during the fight. (Think Joshua-Ruiz 1) I just don't think Tszyu had all of his senses after the first knockdown and was made to look even more limited and overmatched than he actually was.

 

Gutted for Tim but he looked on queen street from the first Knockdown he also should be taught it's OK to take a knee and get the full 10 seconds to gather his senses , he was getting ckuncked by that left every time he needs to defend those shots , Reitirement ? F UC no .

He showed a lack of ring IQ because if he had it he would have known for the next couple of rounds he needed to survive and tighten up his defence but he could not and kept getting hit with the same shot.

 

2nd loss actually. The thing is before this we were getting fools claiming he would unify beat up Crawford, Spence and Charlo proven undisputed and unified world champions.

 

He’ll come back to collect some more checks trust that’s why he’ll only take certain fights. As far as weak champions I beg to differ the 154 division was the only division where the top 10 guys consistently fought each other so we knew exactly how good they were. There was no soft touches and still isn’t which is why I believe Crawford nor Spence will attempt to fight Murta.

There was a reason those guys at 147 never moved up for a very long time and that has never happened.

 

He needs to learn how to handle fighters with longer reaches, that`s twice he`s been beaten by tall fighters.

You shouldn't fight dangerous risky fights in a ball room infront of 2000 people for chump change though. That is not smart. At least get paid well for it.

Sean sitzel made a good observation that Tim seemed spooked by the fundora cut, and as soon as he felt that headbutt he started to force the action and fight anxiously again rather than intelligently taking his time.

 

These guys are pathetic saying they don't hate Tszyu but it was clear from the beginning that they did and we all know why. At least Tim is always willing to fight the best.

 

Yep imagine hating a guy like Tszyu a good honest fighter. I wonder what the reason is?

 

Never understood the hype around Tim at all. He's terrible. He caught a life altering beat down. Shame on his corner; they almost let him get seriously hurt.

 

He hasn't been managed well the last 12 months fighting a guy with Fundora's dimensions on short notice in hindsight was not a good idea and the corner probably should've stopped the fight when the cut opened. Then for his comeback he fights in a small empty venue in Florida against a dangerous opponent when he could've easily taken a tune up against a top 15 opponent in front of a packed crowd anywhere in Australia.

 

Charlo would beat Tyzu everyone knows that including Tyzu and his Daddy.
