While Tucker wasn't a big puncher, he certainly had more than enough power to knock Morrison out. He also would enjoy size, skills, endurance and enormous durability advantage against Tommy

Tucker has literally every conceivable physical advantage, AND knew how to box and had a sturdy beard.

The better question would be... what could the best Morrison do against the Tucker that was stopped by Hide?

Honestly i think this is closer than most might consider, as long as Morrison is patient and doesnt blow his load early like he did against Mercer. Would favor Tucker by UD though, but its possible Morrison catches him and causes some facial damage that leads to a stoppage at some point, or its possible that Tucker fears Morrison's punch too much and plays too passive and loses the decision

I gave Tommy Morrison the benefit of the doubt and say he loses a decision to Tucker.

Let's not forget how lethal and powerful Morrison's left hook was.

I think TUCKER would still win, but you could never count morrison out in his prime. His single punch knockouts were more impressive.

He wasn't a small puncher either. He did have an 83% KO ratio. But he could be a reluctant puncher. Unless Tommy gets in a home run shot, Tony stops him. Tucker was very defensively disciplined and would be wary of Tommy's hook, letting him fall apart with desperation as the usual Morrison frailties set in.

I'm gonna somewhat characteristically swim against the tide here. I think Tommy can take this by decision. He could box, he could defend, it's just that most of the time his left hook and impetuous nature meant he didn't have to. Now, saying he could box doesn't mean he beats everyone, but as some have suggested, Tucker could be somewhat reticent against big hitters and choose to 'competitively defend' himself without actually winning rounds...and this is what I see happening. Some match ups are all wrong for Morrison but I think this one is winnable.

Tucker (1987 Tyson fight) would beat Morrison (1993 Foreman fight).

Sort of OT, but Tucker was arguably Mike Tysons most challenging fight during his real prime.

Tucker had the chin to take tommy’s punches and the offense to hurt him. That and he could linger around forever. Morrison might start out of the gate strong and rock Tucker. Maybe even win a few rounds. But overall I think this is the wrong kind of fight for Tommy.
