I wasn't there either which would have been mentally devastating for him

This is obviously a problem for Furys mental state but I think he is experienced and focused enough for it not to have been a factor in his performance.

I think Furys bigger problem performance wise was not being able to spar at all for Usyk because of the cut. Everyone knows Fury is big on heavy sparring before his fights, so its possible no sparring effected his sharpness, timing, and practice against a southpaw stance.

Tbh I dont think Fury would want to hide behind excuses of a miscarriage or no sparring, theres a fair chance the fight would have played out exactly the same way regardless.

The better man won on the night, Fury has a chance to put it right, bring on Dec 21st.

His name is USYK not USKY, you petulant troll. I fixed your thread title, now cease intentionally misspelling his name from here on out!:rosstheboss

Excuses, excuses. The funniest thing is, Fury, except for the shameful post fight interview, didn't give any excuses why he got his ass whooped. His fanboys tho are starting to look like Wilder's fanboys. Exactly like I thought they would.

Belly was in very good shape. The prove is the fact at a certain point he started to mock Usyk because he knew he was winning. Unfortunately for him this behaviour has ignited Usyk's rage, concentration and accuracy of his blows and he lost.

Usyk may had problems too? Life throws curveballs at us

The better man won in May and Fury has a chance to rectify it.

I don't know if he will win, but I think he has a very good chance and starting to lean to 50/50

Both are top fighters and can win with the right gameplan and a little bit of luck

Lol, people are actually playing that one down.
Yeah, giving birth to a dead baby is pretty serious stuff.
Same people were probably the ones saying Wlad wasn't right because his spoiled wife had the baby blues.

If this is true it's actually a genuine psychological factor impacting performance. Be real.

And Usyk had problems like his home country getting invaded by a communist dictator and millions dying and losing their homes and such so he wasn't 100%, your point being?

Fury wasn’t told about this until after the fight.

    Very sad situation though.

Belly has Talk Sport and all these other clown members of the British media and fight fraternity to make excuses for him. They did the exact same after Usyk beat AJ both times. Usyk is great but he didn't beat the real AJ he beat the McCracken trained AJ who got the tactics wrong and then after Usyk whooped the new ''aggressive'' AJ trained by a top American coach instead of giving Usyk his full credit they made excuses again about him getting the tactics wrong when in reality AJ could only do what Usyk allowed him to do.

Now the excuses for Belly's loss to him are flowing but the big flabby ''I make no excuses" shaved chimp who shamelessly ducked Usyk for years and tried to age him out is getting others to make his excuses for him.

Usyk's country has been invaded and been at war during his entire HW title run and it has obviously weighed very heavy on his mind and been a huge distraction for him

And unlike all these HWs he's slayed he's facing way bigger, younger or much younger prime or closer to prime giants who hold huge or obscene physical advantages over him when he's been past his prime for years and has slowed down a lot

And he's been facing them in their backyards or on the road with the exception of once and even when he's fought them in ''neutral'' Saudi it's not really a neutral location as his opponent's promoters are business partners with the host who staged the fights and who himself is a huge Belly fan who has no problem publicly expressing which of them he's rooting for.

Usyk was very nearly robbed by one of the judges in the first AJ fight, was robbed by one in the rematch in Saudi, was robbed by one of them in the Belly fight, again in Saudi, and in keeping with that ever so conveniently the ref was there to save Belly from a KO defeat in that fight too.

Fearless road warrior Usyk, who like very few if any has constantly fought and sought out the best on a deck stacked against him, has been the model professional in and out of the ring and he's one of the most classy, respectful, likeable and humble fighters to ever lace them up but there are still many out there desperate to discredit him and his achievements.

We would never have seen him in against Belly once, let alone twice, had he not bent over backwards, jumped through hoops and over roadblock after roadblock, and made concession after concession to make it happen. Any other fighter would've walked away after being messed around and disrespected and insulted at the negotiating table like that, let alone a P4P king as accomplished and decorated as he is which is way way more both amateur and pro than Belly is or will ever come close to being.
