just build on your fitness for now eg running and exercises let your trainer teach you punches and foot work so you dont pick up bad habits

Make sure you run every single day including Sundays, start out running 3 miles a day, every day But dont ****ing jog, run, and that last mile run hard. do everything else in the gym with your trainer so you dont pick up any bad habits from messing around at home, the only thing you should do on your own outside of the gym is Run and Swim if its not too cold where you are at.

im never gonna use supplements myself... i believe in letting the body develop as it should thru exercise, im not gonna put anything in my body i dont need to. and 18 isnt really too old to start

thanks for you,but in my opinion its not too old to start.I think that becouse i was training ice hockey since i was 6,and i end when i was 16.I know now what is the experience in sport,if u start when you are young. If u're 12-15 it's the best time to start boxing, becouse when you start if you're 18 ,u dont have this 'a little experience'.I know that i can be good boxing fighter but i need.. BIG KICK TO MY ASS ,becouse i dont have ****ing motivation,it's really bad.I dont know who can help me with that.:fire I think that i'm too old ,all time... Ech,i'm sorry for this post i'm stupid:twisted:

    Sorry for my english.:fire

You are not too old to start I would say if your past 25 it will be the hardest for you, not saying that you wont be able to compete just saying by the time you get things going your body will do what it normally does, it will start to shut down when you get towards your thirtys

You're not too old at all. Just give it your best and take it serious and you'll be fine. You already have the foundation for being an athlete from hockey so you know what it takes to excel.

You don't need any supplements, just eat a healthy, well balanced diet and take a multi vitamin and you'll be just fine.
