I'm going Masoud UD, I think Davies has started to believe his own hype too much...

Davies has fought at a much higher level than Masoud has. I don't get why they have made the fight. Davies doesn't have anything to gain from beating Masoud. I'd be shocked if Masoud won.

Any reason why Nathan Heaney isn't on the card? They're missing his ticket sales.

I think they should have done the card in Telford - it would have sold out there and both fighters are from around that area.

Davies late stoppage - at least I hope so anyway. Great working class story. He reminds me of a mini version of Carl Froch, extremley tough, relentless and hungry to reach the big time.

I can't see Massod being able to hold him off.

They don't need ticket sales, I heard they got a huge site fee as the arena wanted to celebrate its 74th boxing event there

It would have been better for them to go to Telford because Matchroom have a show in Birmingham at the end of the month too which is a stronger card and they haven’t been to Telford since July last year. Davies is from Telford and Masoud is from Stoke.

The undercard is also weak compared to some of the other shows they’ve put on this year.

That’s why I think Telford would have been a better venue than Birmingham. Telford would have been packed out but instead there’s only going to be 2k there in a 15k arena.

Masoud is a decent fighter. I hope you had a wedge on him.
