Who'll be the main players at Heavyweight in 4 years time?

This is a pretty good list.

Joseph Parker (key player still), Filip Hrgovic (key player still), Teremoana Jr (strong dark horse), Artem Suslenkov, Tsotne Rogava (maybe on the fringe), Murat Gassiev, Lawrence Okolie, Muslim Gadzhimagomedov (not sure he can take punches from big hard hitters), Justis Huni (would like the see him take the position Parker has now), Jared Anderson, Johnny Fisher, Ivan Dychko, Oleksandr Zakhozhyi (looked very promising in last fight) , Mourad Aliev, Lazizbek Mullojonov, Sonny Conto, Gurgen Hovhannisyan (possibly has what it takes - but might mess around for years on end), Andri Novytskyi, Dainier Pero (skillful - prefer him to his brother), Viktor Jurk, Aleksei Dronov

 

The fact that Agit Kabayel is so low is wild to me. Watch out for that guy.

Two destruction of undefeated prospects in a clean technical way

 

Dubois is the obvious one. He could unify, heck I think he has ag real shot in an Usyk rematch but gut feeling tells me Usyk may retire after the Fury rematch.

Itauma was next on my vote, but he is so young and the next fight against a guy who knows how to survive will show us a lot. Finally Kabayel who is there or there abouts as we speak. By 2029 I hope we would have seen all 3 fight each other.

 

I guess because he is 32 now, so in 4 years at 36 it's difficult to predict how much he will have left. I figured based on that, these three were a fairly safe bet:
Dubois (27)
Jalolov (30)
Itauma (19)

 

The reason why I'm a heavy Kabayel backer is because he's basically never been in a war, so while he's not young, he doesn't have much mileage. Also, he'll still be able to use his style effectively when he's older as a good technical boxer with solid fundamentals.

 

Opetaia, Dubois, Kabayel I believe. I also think that Parker (not listed but still younger), I think Joshua Edwards will be making noise as well. Once upon a time I thought Sonny Conto (also not listed) would do something, but I feel like he's at a stall.

I personally don't think Torrez is gonna do much.

It depends on how much damage will be done to whom, the younger ones have time while the older ones have to fight more often.

 

A year or so ago I would have had Jalalov at the top of the list.

But he just doesn't seem interested so I doubt he'll go anywhere. Shame.

 

It won't show us anything. Demsey McKean is useless. We'll only be able to see how good he is when he's in with a live dog. He looks promising, but seems to be letting the hype go to his head and who knows how well he can take a punch, but apparently he gave Dubois all he could handle in sparring so he can't be a pushover.

I thinks Kabayel might be the best HW today but in 4 years he'll be 36. Kabayel came up the same time as Parker he was supposed to be the present not the future. Kabayel has been a top HW since 2016.

I picked Kabayel anyway because hes a known entity and still has the highest chance of being top 4 while most of these other guys are a guessing game.
