I see this topic come up a lot, so figured I'd give it another look myself. My 2 cents for anyone interested. Cheers!

It is completely doubtful why a knockdown was awarded without Fury touching the floor with either his knee or his glove.

    Detailed video, excellent editing.

Im trusting in the judgement of the official. For better or worse...I think his call was to give Fury the benefit of the doubt as well as looking to rule a Usyk stoppage if it came to that. By the rules a knockdown could have come sooner but at the expense of a Usyk stoppage. So there are two sides.

There was no bias either way. I would have ruled a KD earlier. In big championship fights the officials can change their standards. Third man needs to be respected

It is not doubtful at all, the ropes held Fury up(multiple times). By the rules that is considered a knock down.

If the ropes are holding you up, then the rules say it is a knockdown

You either follow the rules or you don't

When I and others say that Dubois knocked usyk out, you guys point out the rule regarding the beltline

Can't have it both ways I'm afraid, or you are just a delusional spastic

So to cut a long story short, no Usyk was not robbed of a knockout if we are following the rules and yes that also applies to Dubois and the lowblow

Usyk badly hurt Fury, got the knockdown and won the fight on points. These are the facts and twisting them is just false

There is a decent amount of human judgement involved in Boxing officiating. More than most sports. Nothing delusional about that

Ropes held Fury up twice, before they did the for third time, when the ref finally called the knockdown, not letting Usyk to unload on him. Also, the same ref, the same year, stopped the fight way earlier, when the boxer was taking less punishment then Fury did. Therefore, you can argue the ref willingly saved Fury. At the end of the day, all was according to the rules, so it doesn't matter anyway.

Yes, Usyk was clearly robbed of a knockout.

I'm not debating Fury with you, as you have a bias, I guess i have also
Just letting you know, as I won't be replying to your posts

I got banned the last time I got into it.

If you quote on other subjects? No problem, but I'm not debating Fury with you. That also means if he wins I won't quote you and gloat

Just letting you know rather than ignoring you, because there is nothing to gain us interacting

Yes look at the Ruddock vs Tyson 1 stoppage for example Ruddock fell into the ropes and that was ruled an instant TKO and Usyk vs Fury was far worse than that.

Fury also fell into the ropes numerous times before the referee ruled it a knockdown so the whole "standing 8 count" argument don't make much sense to me.

In the end though its all irrelevant we're getting a rematch next month which should settle any debate.

Calling the knockdown the first time Fury hit the ropes would have been saving him, realistically. Fury had to endure a much worse beating before he got the breather to recover.

Dubois landed a low blow. Usyk wasn't robbed of a knockout.

I never thought he was robbed of a KO, and I think it is very obvious that the ref made the right decision since Fury didn't suffer life changing injury, and didn't get knocked unconscious.

Those saying Fury should have been stopped must only be coming from a place of compassion as Fury fans not wanting him to take further punishment, no other argument makes sense to me.
