The Tijuana tornado. But if he fights Clottey or Williams and loses that might change.

At this point it's Margarito. But if campbell beats Guzman, or if Pac and Valero pushes through and Pac wins via ko then I'll go for either campbell or pac.

Divac and I both agree that it should be Juan Manuel Marquez because he beat pac and almost knock him down during their rematch. :yep

Margarito so far... but maybe Campbell can pull it off if he defeats Guzman - another Top15 P4P-e with an undefeated record. 3 world titles at LW in an upset win over Juan Diaz and another legitimate win over very talented SFW champ Guzman is pretty amazing IMO. A guaranteed P4P top10 position at least...

Calzaghe can make some noise with a big win over Jones, but that doesn't count as big as a win 4 years ago. Pavlik can be a strong candidate if he stops Hopkins. But so far, Margarito is the favourite, and rightfully so. And he's got another fight coming up, possibly against Clottey, or vs. Williams or Mosley or Oscar. All good names.

Margarito so far has done the job... If he fights and beats Williams or Clottley by the end of the year we all have to give it to him, hands down...

I gotta go with Pac who beat a great fighter in JMM in a classic, knocked out Diaz at 135, and established himself as the best fighter in the sport.

    Margarito is a close second.

Whilst I do say Magarito aswell, I dont think he is striding miles ahead in the race right now.

But if Manny fights Soto and with other superstars not really fighing anyone of note or in their prime then I cant see who catches him at this stage.

What if Mijaries fight Darchinyan before the year is out?, surely he would be in contention with wins over Navarro and Munoz earlier in the year, and an impending victory coming up against Chakasul. Add Vic to that it could make it close in some people's eyes.
