Not that I’m old enough to know but I presume 20 years ago he’d have just been cast aside. Now you have an army of muppets ready to film/interview Hearn for YouTube, have some cringey banter and let him use their platform as a propaganda tool to try and bend the truth basically.

The last time that interviewer asked about the same topic I remember Hearn being very off with him and accusing him off trying to be a big man and a hero. Such a knob.

That's why when it comes to asking them about certain things, they frame it in a way where they don't upset them and they then don't ask them anything of relevance.

Hearn is increasing using the word 'we' when referring to Joshua. Even specifically fight related stuff. He seems to have conveniently forgotten that when the bell rings he goes and sits on his safe, comfortable ringside seat. Champion boxer by association is Eddie. I bet he's got his own robe and trunks and poses in front of the mirror in them.

 

Hearn is like one of them football hooligans that say ‘we’ but all they do is stand in the terraces pissed up then lamp foreigners on the street post match

 

It is a shambles but regardless of Hearn's repeated claims to the contrary there are jurisdictional issues.

 

This just doesn’t sit right so Ben argued that he accidentally took the same banned fertility drug on two separate occasions - what was he doing trying for a baby

Also let’s not forget this is the same drug Jon Jones and Brock Lesnar got busted for in UFC and both served two year bans yet somehow Conor Hen is completely innocent

One final bit of evidence he stops Vargas a boxer that’s never been stopped like that before then a year later can’t even crack an egg with his punches with journeyman level bums eating his flush shots like he knocks back an egg omelette

 

I genuinely don't understand the reputational risk and investment in someone that's

Not very good

Has the surname of someone that was a good fighter three decades ago.


Surely there are other, much more worthy investments?


Because all this for precisely one cash out fight where in all likelihood, he gets chinned, because as I have mentioned, he's not very good.

It's not quite the same though, is it?

Eubank fought one of his peers early doors, for the national title (which he later won), and fought for a genuine world title in the Super Series, losing in a game effort, beating some decent 'pros and fringe contenders along the way.

Don't remember him having any drug controversies either.

Only of late has he become more of a cherry picking inactive fighter.


Benn hasn't beaten anybody considered dangerous, or a puncher and, hasn't even picked up the British title, or fought anyone remotely considered a talented 'pro.

Also, he is massively unlikable and dim, whereas Eubank is quite funny, and was classy at the presser for the fight against Smith, where some unsavoury things were said (admittedly Smith did later apologise).

 

We're all going to feel very foolish and somewhat ashamed when Hearn's family are released along with the phone messages and pictures from the secure location where they've been held at gunpoint, leaving him no choice but to go along with Operation Cover-Up.

 

This is one of the things that I find most amusing. Eddie Hearn lectures that Conor Benn is full of anger and he will take that anger into the ring against his next opponent...?

In his last fight in the USA, Conor Benn faced a club fighter and he certainly did not look convincing.

Matchroom must be extremely careful who they choose as an opponent IF Conor Benn returns ?

Benn hasn't completed a silent ban. If he had UKAD wouldn't be considering appealing.

The fact Benn won't release the NADP judgement tells you everything you need to know about how he got off.
