From a early 90's fighter on, its Manny Pac. Had the old school mentality of wanting to prove he was the best. Stayed very active when the sport was transitioning frankly into a completely different sport altogether. Activity started to fall off the cliff, and 15 rounds had already turned into 12. Bringing fighters along to fight once a year has been brought to the forefront of the sport instead of staying active wanting to prove your the best. Pacman probably has the best resume in the last 40 years of the sport imo. Stayed very active and fought everyone all the way up.

Everett Martin (you might know him as Bigfoot) fought the following, consecutively:

    Bert Cooper
    Johnny DuPlooy
    Dwight Muhammad Qawi
    George Foreman
    Gary Mason
    Pierre Coetzer
    Francesco Damiani
    Bonecrusher Smith
    Michael Moorer
    Riddle Bowe
    Tim Witherspoon
    Tony Tucker
    Larry Holmes
    Herbie Hide
    Tony Tubbs

    He also fought:

    Lance Whitaker
    Wlad Klitschko X2
    Dannell Nicholson
    Lamon Brewster
    Fres Oquendo
    Joe Hipp
    Obed Sullivan
    Serhei Liakhovich
    Ruslan Chagaev

Trivia: He wore I think size 10 1/2 shoes. His nickname did not come from having large feet … it was the fact that he didn’t shave his torso and was a hairy son of a gun so someone likened him to the wooly mythic forest creature in reference to that.

Compared to others who fought around the same amount of Hall-of-Famers as McLarnin did, which is nearly the most in history, McLarnin has comparatively little fluff. I did an analysis a while back and I forget exactly what it was now, but he must have spent over half of his career, if not more, against guys who were ranked inside the top-10 or entered the Hall of Fame.

This is one of my favourite picks in this thread. These are the kinds of fighters i admire so much. Win or lose, they are willing to fight anyone and everyone.

I have made that argument as well ie JMM. There some some that make the argument he ducked Margarito and Khan( the latter mention is something I find hilarious lol) But everything you wrote is correct. Well done.

I think Journeyman , Leroy Caldwell , deserves a mention. He has stood in the ring against so many punchers , champions
    and top challengers like:

    Joe Bugner
    Pinklon Thomas
    Cleveland Williams
    George Foreman
    Ron Lyle
    Earnie Shavers
    Trevor Berbick
    Oscar Bonavena
    John Tate
    Gerrie Coetzee
    Terry Daniels

He was also the sparring Partner of Tim Witherspoon, Tony Tucker, Michael Dokes ,
Frank Bruno and said about Brunos Punching Power:

"Believe me, I've been hit by Earnie Shavers, George Foreman, 'Big Cat' Cleveland Williams and there's no difference in those guys' and his punching."
