The Tyson that fought RJJ in the exhibition would beat JP. People are forgetting JP also badly gasses out after a round or two and only fights in tiny bursts and has zero defence at that stage.

It’s more likely JP hits Tyson and ends the fight, even when Tyson has his guard up simply due to age and no punch resistance. JP will likely burn a lot of nervous energy pre fight and Tyson won’t.

Depends on the pre fight contract too, I’m hearing Tyson gets paid more and more for every round the fight lasts which eliminates a first round attack by him.

To be honest, Harold Sconiers would have absolutely whooped Jake Paul and every single of Paul's opponents. Sconiers was competent jorneyman who gave hell to 37 y.o. Ruddock (and that Ruddock would have stretched Jake Paul within 30 seconds or so)

I imagine at the beginning of camp Cordeiro just lifted Dukes advice to Rocky in the sixth movie

"To beat this guy, you need speed — you don’t have it. And your knees can’t take the pounding, so hard running is out. And you’ve got arthritis in your neck, and you’ve got calcium deposits on most of your joints, so sparring is out... So, what we’ll be calling on is good old-fashioned blunt-force trauma. Horsepower. Heavy-duty, cast-iron, pile-driving punches that will have to hurt so much they’ll rattle his ancestors. Every time you hit him with a shot, it’s gotta feel like he tried kissing the express train. Yeah! Let’s start building some hurtin’ bombs!"

If it is indeed a proper fight then Mike has about 40 seconds to connect with something before he realises he has no place in there.

Mmm, maybe even as long 30 seconds if a peak Tyson happened to be feeling compassionate and charitable on the night.

You may be right on Sconiers. I honestly have only seen 2 of his fights. He was very scrappy. Left himself open while exchanging. Those swinging for the fences will eventually connect with his chin. But I do think he gives Paul hell.
