Not a fight I like talking about very much, but Duk-Koo Kim's tremendous effort vs. Mancini, including somehow making it to his feet after the 14th round KD is courageous as it gets.

Jim Barry fighting Sam Langford 12 times. After their first fight the Evening Herald said "no egg ever received a worse beating" than Barry, who "took enough punishment to knock Joe Grim into a cocked hat". Barry who actually knocked Langford down in the first round of that encounter gave it 11 more tries.

Because of this 0-10-2 series Barry finished his career one fight below .500.

Roberto Duràn broke hsi hands somewhere in his fight with Marvin Hagler, that's crazy to think of when you see him still throwing those right bombs.

Joe Frazier. To take a rematch with the guy who did THAT to you in your first fight takes an insane amount of courage.

plenty of others will be named. But none of them did anything THAT crazy.

Abdullah Mason last weekend got dropped in the pocket twice but still managed to get inside and find the KO shot. Granted, the competition wasn't high-level, but I can still respect the mentality.
