Yeah them old factory workers are not built tough.
All that standing or slumping over in the factory 8-14 hours, breathing in who knows what and working them guys to death without even a gold watch to show for it in the end—“Hard Times” Yet, still going home to beat their kids—Ummmm shame.
Good thing you put it on the delusional old man and set him straight maybe straighten his back out when you got him too. You go Tiger

Netflix is probably getting into boxing after those numbers.

Makes sense now all the damn problems most people experiencing with their Netflix stream. At least 40 million new subscribers last night for them.

We’re most likely going to see more boxing events on Netflix with the number of viewerships they were able to get. We had Amazon Prime and now Netflix.

Just waiting on Max to get on board with it and perhaps bring back the HBO crew back.

Nah, HBO was trash in the end. No need for that.

I’ll take the HBO people over the guys at ESPN and DAZN any day.

i think this will become a strategy, given the level of success. mix world class boxing with a celebrity fight in one card. combine the interests of both fan bases.

Who would have ever thought that putting a major fight on without PPV would draw gigantic numbers?

What I don't get is why they weren't better prepared for what the actual fight would look like. They could see what Mike's pad work looked like in the public workout.

OK.. I'm going to chime in.

    Does age matter?

    Of course it does!

So also, does hobbling around on a useless leg "matter'!

If Mike had to fight with a leg like that in his youth, we wouldn't be having this discussion, because Mike would never have become the champion that he became!

His WHOLE boxing style is DEPENDENT on moving very quickly (for a heavyweight) on both legs.

Even a young Mike -- with legs like that -- would be a problem.

As for a 27 year old (fit) Mike fighting Paul ---

We would be betting on how many seconds (not minutes) it would take for Mike to knock Paul out.

I'm seeing a lot of people (rightfully) denigrate the quality of the main event but then in the next breath say Taylor vs. Serrano II was "the real fight of the night".

Umm...am I missing something? Besides the several rounds I couldn't see due to Netflix glitching, that is. :sisi1

From the few rounds that worked for me, it didn't look all that different from their first match - which is to say good, but nowhere CLOSE to as good as Barrios vs. Ramos, which to me was the clear FOTN.

Ramos got the shaft in no doubt the potential FOTY and Amanda same case. I think the headbutts and skin tag hanging off her face really left this one in the history books. Her gash, the eye, was horrible and her face was a crimson mask as Good Ole JR was say so yeah it was also very special with more visible and visual impacts on the combatants

Amanda never said a word and even hugged Katie - that was her trainer who was very vocal.
