I did watch it and she does have quick hands but her guard is too low and she struggled with Serrano`s power.

With tits, but I don`t think Taylor`s got much of a figure and is nowere near Barrera`s level.

She was affected by the cut before that she was lighting Taylor up in bursts.

She got cut after a butt WTF? Don`t you understand about that? the blood was getting in her eye and then got butted again leaving her eyelid almost hanging off, the fight should have been stopped and gone to the cards.

And if its and buts were candy and nuts we'd all have a Merry Christmas.

Fight wasn't stopped, a point was rightfully deducted and head clashes are almost inevitable when Southpaw and Orthodox fights clash.

You'd think Serrano, having complained about the same issue last time, would have had a plan B or at least had something resembling a basic guard.

Taylor is the GWOAT she beat Serrano twice in her home country and Katies was past her prime in her late 30's for both fights.

Hey guys just a reminder this thread is not about the Taylor Serrano fight. Regardless of who you thought won it is about giving Katie the respect she deserves for all that she has achieved.Putting aside the controversial decisions and the head butts she is still has done great things in boxing and surely everyone has to respect that

This is such garbage. I'm in the minority but I'll say the same thing I said when everybody blasted Holyfield v. Tyson for butting. When one fighter attacks aggressively, if the other fighter chooses to stand and fight, BOTH have the responsibility to avoid butts. What, was she supposed to take the mentality of Serrano being really aggressive, I better make sure I defend myself and protect her head also? Complete nonsense. She cam barreling in and Taylor stood her ground and **** happens. BTW, if their butting heads, who's to say Taylor isn't the one who might've gotten the cut? The butts argument is ignorant at worst and overplayed at best. Maybe that's why 2 separate refs never Calle dit on Holyfield and IMO the ref Saturday only called on Taylor at the end b/c he caved to the peer pressure of Serrano's corner as well as the ugliness of the cut. Now....did Taylor rub her head on the cut? Yep, sure did. B/c she's killer and bc it's legal. Rough business, the aggressor doesn't get the benefit of the doubt b/c that would become an overwhelming advantage. Barrel in....protect your self at all times. Butts come w/ the style.

So's Katie. She has no responsibility to protect Serrano's head when Serrano comes barreling in. Protect yourself at all times. Barrel in, better cover up. It's not the gym and Taylor isn't a heavy bag, she gets to fight back & if Serrano wants to close hard **** happens. Tell me how many times ALI ever got butted in his almost 20 years of fighting? I can't think of one. Why? he fought upright. The advantage, less risky, disadvantage? Less stoppages. More aggressive? Advantage more stoppages, disadvantage? More risky to catching one or getting a butt. That's the sport. Why did Holyfield never get accused of butting Bowe in 36 rounds of boxing? Bowe didn't barrel in b/c he had reach. But after the Tyson fight all if a sudden Holyfield's a butter. Nah, nonsense. Styles make fight and **** happens. Taylor is an ATG and fights very respectably. She's not dirty and my guess is you've probably never seen but maybe 1-2 of her fights ever and you're jumping on the bandwagon. Sorry to be a douche, but facts are facts.

Taylor was an absolute disgrace. It's the third time she's lost and got the nod. So-called legend lost to a full-time police officer in Persoon the first time around, and now she maliciously cheats her way to another "victory".

I completely agree with your points—this whole debate is madness. If you watch any of Serrano's fights, her approach is always the same: head down, swinging wildly. It's her signature style. In fact, Serrano often keeps her head so low and throws punches without even looking, which inevitably leads to head clashes.

On the other hand, Taylor's inside game is simply superior. She executed the perfect strategy against a big puncher—closing the distance to neutralize Serrano's power. Once again, Serrano showed she has no Plan B when her usual tactics don't work.
