    Does James Toney belong here? I feel being fighter of the year 10 years after the first time in 93 is quite the accolade. I know his success was short lived and overshadowed by steroid use though.
    I also think Donaire deserves a shout here. Even though his second act wasn't as glorious as his first, he surprised me by rebounding after the rigo and Walter's losses.

    Floyd Mayweather.

    People forget but Mayweather actually retired after the Hatton fight. Those last 10 fights put his legacy in a totally different stratosphere then where it was. Its insane to think how different things might have been if Mayweather stayed retired.
