Do you really have to have a gift for brainwashing though if your opposition is presented by Hillary Clinton & Kamala Harris, & their talking points are puberty blockers for children, drag queens in kindergarten, & sexually confused adult men in women’s sports & bathrooms? Plus uncontrolled, unvetted immigration from a country chocful of criminals?

Seems to me a scarecrow could, “brainwash” people away from that.

Can we squeeze L Ron Hubbard into that list? He managed to wash his own brain also.

A fundamental requirement for brain washing is the actual existence of a brain in the selected target(s).

Targeting a vacuous audience to begin with is an entirely different proposition with an unfortunately high success rate. :D

I have to agree with you man.

How long did it take the Surgeon General to officially confirm the obvious health risks of smoking - 1964?

Certainly, there were other factors in play that saw the delay - factors falling outside of legit assessment and timely/due health warnings.

Anyone who did smoke, and those near to them, would’ve had to have been deluded not to be able to make their own personal links to the myriad diseases and conditions that smoking caused.

Ali was still quite a valuable commodity to boxing in 1980 - a fact that overrode good old fashioned common sense.

In the new viewpoint piece, they write: “Here, we add this missing information to the archives of history. The main point of our report is that Muhammad Ali indeed had young-onset levodopa-responsive Parkinson disease with an emergence during the mid-phase of his boxing career.

Neurologists who treated Muhammad Ali provide evidence for primary Parkinson’s diagnosis That's wild when you think of what he accomplished in the mid-phase of his boxing career. He was sui generis, sui generis.

Cant easily find it, but i saw an Ali interview by Howard Cosell the morning after the second fight with Frazier, and Ali's speech was similar to his late 70's, early 80's one. Ill try to find it

That's scary, but on the other hand he sounded fine in the runup to Kinshasha and Manila.

I saw Holmes Ali the day it happened. I didn't feel any enmity for Larry, in fact all I felt was abysmally sorry for Ali.

Both of those guys got a hell of a lot of money for that fight.

Albo you mean? Not really. From either side, they can be as bad as each other and they serve themselves first and more than country.
