Usyk vs. Wilder ends up looking much like Holmes vs. Shavers did. Usyk pretty much needs to fight a perfect fight, but given the vast skill difference, he’s fully capable of doing so.
Great, get to see him get comically knocked out several more times. Hopefully he continues to fight the most dangerous HW contenders well into his 40s.
I didnt mean it like he applies non stop Joe Frazier type pressure. I mean Wilder is always threatening and looking to land something staying in his preferred range is willing to let his hands go. At least, prime Wilder was. And yes he's a sniper, but a pretty wild and aggressive one.
Literally all of what I said is true. Two of the things I mentioned was that southpaws are often weak to strong right leads and that Wilder beat a skilled southpaw in Ortiz. Granted, Ortiz isn't as good as Usyk but he was very skilled. Are you saying this is false? Because you'd have to be an idiot to double down at this point.
Things like this make for nice curated promos, and hollywood movies. In reality though, these warrior mindsets are the double edge swords that both create champions, and also lead them down a path of devistating losses they shouldnt be taking, often doing irreparable harm to their cognitive faculties, which can have a myriad of life altering symptoms. But, if hes going to stay... Wilder vs AJ, please. Lol.
Wilder won't agree to keep things at a room temperature pace the way Usyk prefers "boxing" at mid range and will be trying to pressure the Ukrainian with his unorthodox style. - Absolute nonsense - Wilder doesn’t pressure anyone, unless you count walking back to the ropes with his right hand cocked as pressure. Usyk hates body shots - Never been dropped by a body shot in the professional career, in fact never been dropped at all, unlike wilder who has dropped by a body shot from feather fisted fury. Wilder has decent spear jabs and right hands to the body. - No he doesn’t, more absolute nonsense. The odds actually favor Wilder. - No they don’t, Usyk has fought less than 10 heavyweight fights and has beaten two people better than Wilder, arguably 4 people. Wilder has 40+ fights and has never beaten anyone anywhere close to Usyk level. Now IF Usyk managed to neutralize Wilder's right hand, then yes the match could swing back to him and he could outbox the Alabaman. But that's a big if.- “He could outbox the Alabaman” ? You think?
Literally all of this is wrong, but I know you're just going to say "nope" if I break down each talking point. You're not even comprehending half the things I wrote.
Wilder who is now gun shy and timid within the squared circle, and with enough excuses and conspiracy theories to fill a library, is not a sporting winner, but our sport it seems brings big money for non boxing reasons. Ah well good luck to Wilder if he can get folk to pay big bucks at this stage of his career, as the quote goes "Fools and their money are soon parted". So Rumsfield you could well be right, Turki and his deep pockets could well give Wilder one last big payday, tis a funny ol world.
