Hate On Joe Calzaghe

I'm European. In fact, I'm British. My objective opinion is that Joe Calzaghe is very talented, but very overrated on account of him having a relatively weak resume.

I will put a little waving hand as well, as I can only be bothered writing this very short post on this very tired and overdone subject, and I can observe from your posts that a little waving hand seems to be used whenever you haven't written anything substantial or included any evidence or proof: :hi:

 

I included Taylor. So he actually has 33 different names on his resume. I don't buy that, Manfredo is better than 32 of them

Joe beat Hopkins,is gonna beat Jones and Toney didn`t get in the ring with him. He`45-0,11 years a world champion,21 title defences,wins a second world title in his debut at the new weight. He draws crowds that no American fighter could dream of,wins at home,wins abroad(something those yanks you mention know nothing about), the guy is a born winner.

He will retire undefeated and no doubt Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II will knight him.

 

No, but including Hopkins on his resume when he hasn't even fought him definitely is a joke. Kudos :good

The rest of them, I'm not seeing much daylight between them and The Pride of Providence. McKart was several hundreds years old and is undergoing fossilisation as we speak. The rest havn't beaten anybody, or done anything to clearly mark them ahead of Manfredo; such as lasting 2 rounds with Joe Calzaghe

I included Taylor as the solitary name that is better than Pete Manfredo on his resume - reading isn't your strong point. I compensated for that in my calculation, but obviously I can't include Taylor twice, there are only 33 differing names.

The rest are garbage and havn't done anything that marks them out; they are at best equal to Peter Manfredo.
