Valuev said that Vitali only offered him about a million and it was nowhere near enough even to pay him team.

From the same article, you linked:

"We cannot understand all this. Ruslan Chagaev is ready to box. His blood work has been stable for several years, including before this fight. The German Boxing Federation, the WBA and Dr. Walter Wagner, the doctor representing the Austrian Boxing Federation which regulates cards of Sauerland Events, have all classified him as safe. They are trying to dodge Ruslan Chagaev here by hook or by crook. We will examine this situation very closely and take any steps necessary."

The fact that Don King was involved in this say a lot. So you're just pushing a false narrative.

The thought of Valuev coming out and unloading both barrels on Wlad in a wildly uncharacteristic fight still makes me chuckle, it’s (sort of) seriously possible it’s all a mindset… Valuev could do a lot if he’d tried but he was so economic I believe due to the strain of his immense size. He should’ve been built to be a Wlad type Jab and grabber, make them work on the way in and put them in a headlock the second they got close lol he was just sort of a basic fighter who happened to be stupid big. Imagine the chaos that would’ve unfolded on the heavyweight scene if he’d fought like Gene Fullmer? Just wild, butting, mauling, wrestling and endless murder punches.

Probably didn’t want to get hit by Wlad. And didn’t the brothers do the thing where if you beat one, you have to fight the other? Unless he fought Vitali first and lost, he wasn’t getting out of fighting Wlad. And Vitali would probably have beat him.

    I literally presented the facts.

Chaggy later failed the same medical test , preventing him from facing Daisy Haye.
I was an optical observer at the time ,u weren't

I really do not mean this to read like I know you're wrong. I do not and I am just curious what you mean.

A man who accepts no fights but mandos during a time when the mandos are all old, out of shape, or undersized, doesn't scream risk taker to me.

Working up the WBO before the WBO is major doesn't seem like a risky move to me.

Letting Pov float in the top five for a decade without ever trying to force a fight because you're busy with Mormeck doesn't seem terribly ready to take a risk to me.

What has you calling the Wladster a risk taker? No disrespect to you or him but I missed it.

Any champion who unifies the belts is a risk taker.

You can make much easier money by milking one belt.

Vitali fought no major opponents in this era Valuev can't be blamed for that.

Valuev was a tough matchup for Wladimir and Valuevs the biggest hole on Wlads otherwise immaculate resume. But Wladimir fought the guys who took Valuevs belts fair and square. If Valuev beat Chagaev and Haye then not fighting Valuev is a problem but he didn't. And at the end of the day thats why Wlad and Valuev didn't fight because it wasn't a neccessary fight once Valuev lost his belts.
