He was never a respectable journalist. He was a career plagiarist who shamelessly retweeted and copied content from other platforms without giving the original source any credit. Yes it was useful as a boxing enthusiast after a long day of working to quickly scan his account for a recap of any noteworthy boxing news, but he was an imposter and it’s unbelievably unjust that he has probably made a few hundred thousand pounds off the back of stealing the work of others.
I hope the content stays the same. Michael shamelessly plagiarised news, but I did appreciate his live update boxing tweets when I wasn't watching live.
Congratulations to Michael Benson who has probably made a lot of money. Well-deserved for all of his hard graft over the years. I'm really delighted for the guy.
