The reason why some people find women's boxing entertaining is because these women have got no footwork, no upper body movement, no head movement and no defense, combined with an inability to hurt each other and the fact they only do 2 minute rounds. So they just stand toe to toe, windmilling slaps at each, most of which land, which leads to people saying things like "wow, you don't see that kind of action in men's fights".
Katie Taylor vs Amanda Serrano is a perfect example of this.

No as the idea isn't to kill the sport. Like MMA there isnt enough High level talent to maintain women only shows plus combat fight fans in the West haven't yet been cultivated to really watch all women fight cards.

Japan maybe would be different as Japan has had history where at its peak the most popular combat sports promotion was All Japan Women.

Its entertaining in the same way that watching a pair of pissed up fat blokes swing at eachother outside a pub on saturday night is entertaining

Why are they not investing and developing sports that women enjoy like hockey, netball and volleyball. These leagues could be huge (as they are in Asia) and produce idols for women to look up to. Nothing against women boxing if they want to but I do object to the disproportionately large investment in sports like cricket and boxing when it could be put into sports girls actually want to participate in.

I'm asking from the consumer point-of-view. We all know the reason women are shoehorned onto men's shows.

You dont think girls want to play cricket?

Secondly sports like Hockey, Netball, Volleyball have had women participating for years. Those sports will never be mainstream.

I think a small minority of women want to play cricket in this country as opposed to higher numbers who play netball, volleyball and hockey. FIVB is huge in other countries, I watch it myself with my girlfriend. Why is not promoted here?

I don’t mind them on mens cards.

Women's fights are so utterly predictable I usually make a few quid from the bookies.

Expects to be given out free or for £2 then a load of woke nonsense about it being a "sold out" event and pioneering blah blah when it will lose money
