Can be above or below where they normally fought, for any number of reasons.

Maybe a hot take, but Mandos Ramos above 135 pounds. I'm aware of his decline and outside the ring issues, but the weight sure didn't help either.

In his final 10 bouts, all contested above the lightweight limit, Ramos went 4-5-1, including two losses to the man, the myth, the legend... Wolfgang Gans.

Some other fighters I wasn't particularly blown away by and at what weight...

    Ruben Olivares above 126

    Ricky Hatton above 140

    Arguello at 140 and above

    Aaron Pryor at 147

And my sleeper pick is Octavio Gomez, who had no business at featherweight... despite being the only man to ever outpoint Danny Lopez there!

    Didn't Hatton win a title @147?

I wouldn't call Arguello a "dud" @140 either - he may not have won a title there, but he lost 2 epic battles vs. a candidate for GOAT titlist @that weight.

Sandy Saddler was great (imo the greatest ever) at feather, but merely very, very good at 130 and at best good above that.

I think Julian Jackson lost something when he moved up to 160. 154 was perfect for him.

I've never seen a guy who wasn't bursting at the seams down at 175 get so much **** for losing to some of the best heavyweights of all time AFTER HIS OWN PRIME HAD ALREADY ENDED!

Most certainly. He wasn't turning guys lights out at 160.

Jackson had those bad eye problems that affected his balance. I think he should probably have retired after the additional damage he took in the Graham fight.

After light hitting defensive specialist Hilario Zapata lost his light-fly title to Jung-Koo Chang, he made a very ill-advised jump straight to Bantam for one fight against contender Harold Petty....it didn't go well.

Wilfredo Gomez seemed to lose something above
    super bantam.
Same with Roberto Duran above welterweight.
Though his skills hid it well against all but the
    very best fighters he fought.
