    The win would be huge.
Usyk is the best boxer on the planet.

The size difference isn't what people make out either. Usyk is a huge cruiser and is now around 220lbs pretty lean. Povetkin was flabby at 228lbs. Plenty of these characters just over 6ft are fat and actually smaller than Usyk.

Fury is 6'7 tops and probably smaller. He isn't built like Price or even Wlad, so the extra weight above 245lbs or so is just fat. Usyk's torso actually looked meatier than Fury's.

Yes Fury is bigger obviously but the difference isn't as big as he himself tries to convince himself. In the fight Usyk didn't look massively undersized. And Fury typically fights as a pure boxer so the size difference isn't really used that much in terms of overpowering people. He hugs less than any other SHW, despite the propaganda. He wasn't even hugging after Usyk nailed him, when he actually should have been.

If a shot Fury rises from the dead after successive defeats to Ngannou and Usyk and beats the Great Oleksandr Usyk to become 3 time Ring Magazine Champion, then it will be one for the ages

Usyk beating Fury in the first place will always be bigger, not matter the outcome of this fight.

Olek also had to beat the dodgy ref and judges.

He cleaned up 4 opponents in the one fight. Amazing.

The claim that Fury is shot is a complete fantasy.

    Lol so what?

If he beats probably the best heavyweight of this era so what?

If he beats the guy who's beaten Joshua, DDD and himself so what?

Soooo desperate to not give Fury credit should he pull this off jeez

I think what most are saying is that he is an elite talent and as a much bigger SHW he should be beating an older smaller cruiserweight who has been in orders of magnitude more fights. That is what is expected. The opposite isn’t though, which is why it was a big win. You don’t start jumping for joy when your cab driver takes you to your destination- that is what he is expected to do at the minimum.

    Yeah I think so
But usyk is apparently the goat of boxing, so who knows

He's better than Floyd, Robinson, Armstrong, Ali, Duran and Leonard combined according to fanboys, so we will have to wait and see

But yes a seriously shot Fury still has that dog in him and his size, so he could get it done against the slightly past prime usyk

Given his size advantage he is supposed to beat Usyk; Usyk's victory over Fury is the biggest heavyweight victory of the decade, and even if Fury wins the rematch it won't surpass Usyk's original victory. If Fury wins the rematch I would put it on a par with his win over Wlad.

There's nothing to indicate Fury is shot.

Usyk beating not only Fury but also AJ 2x is the s tory, not either of those guys beating Usyk who is much, MUCH smaller fighter giving up many pounds in weight and several inches in height.
