I have seen a lot of videos titled something along the lines of "Training footage of Usyk for Fury rematch". But once you actually click on the videos, its just old training footage.
I’d say it’s pretty obvious given the revised timings after the cut that he was going to have to be careful with sparring. And I don’t think he’d throw around his wife having a miscarriage as just an “excuse”
Almost all the Usyk training videos which claim to feature or imply feature recent footage of him are old footage. It's amazing how quickly his hair grows. Like he can literally go from smooth bald to a full head of hair in a week
Perhaps obvious that he might be careful to a degree but I don’t recall anyone factoring it into their calculations prior to the fight and particularly so, after Fury said he had a perfect camp. Fury’s main grievance was that he believed he won the fight and that he robbed of victory. As to his wife’s miscarriage, that is extremely sad and a sensitive subject, but, when in Saudi, Tyson still said he was going to get paid, get laid and THEN go home..if he was thusly sensitive in kind himself, he could’ve left that out.
Why would training footage matter? Just enjoy the fight between these two brilliant fighters on saturday night
I think the fact that they’re not releasing same indicates how much it matters. Neither wants to reveal their playbooks in any way and lack of footage also conceals their specific conditioning and weights going in lest it give away their strategical accents. Fury has indicated he’s gunning for a quick KO - which he actually did say last time, IIRC - and to float that suggestion, he has also exaggerated the weight he’s at. He could just as easily be that much lighter than he claims and actually be looking to box it out. Who knows? Can’t wait.
Same mate. The first fight was a great advert for boxing. Both fighters showed up and brought their A game . A brilliant high level fight between two fantastic fighters. Can't wait to see how the rematch pans out.
I do not have DAZN but I do have ESPN+ and will fork out the $40 for this fight. Some siblings and friends will be there and we will turn this into a Saturday feast. I am really looking forward to Saturday!
Every fighter says they had a great camp, no injuries blah blah blah before every fight, what else do you expect them to do. It’s the name of the game.
