I didn't know whether to like this or not. Sets up a meaningful fight between Miller and someone for it afterwards. Pulev gets to cash out. I watched the Charr fight, and he just looked old.
Well yeah. He is a Olympic medalist and quite tall for the weight. Should be a better opponent than that Cinkara fella.
This content is protected The WBO is set to strip Joseph Parker of the Interim title as soon as the bell sounds for his fight against Dubois. If Fury wins on Saturday I could see him dropping the full title so his buddy could get elevated, but if Usyk wins (which is what I think will happen, for the record), then I could see this as being a step toward making Itauma fight for an Interim title, or even a full one if Usyk vacates to retire/move down to Cruiser/whatever, and beating Mike Tyson's record as youngest heavyweight champion. Either way it'd be asterisked all to hell, but I'm sure that wouldn't stand in the way of the branding
It's interesting that Mourad Aliev, Sonny Conto & Andrii Novytskyi all have the exact same record and KO ratio 13-0 with 10 KO's, and all are aged 28/29. Who do you think is the most promising out of the trio?
Novytskyi is developing a following and on a Turkyi card, so if he wins, it will be him. The other two will languish in obscurity until they are 35, get a fight against a prospect and sleepwalk to a loss.
Funny that they are trying to make the youngest in Itauma and the oldest in Klitschko at the same time. Neither will be, though. Tyson was undisputed, and Foreman linear. Picking up a quarter of the title won't cut it.
Dychko is a waste of talent. Can we honestly even rate him as a top 10 prospect given that he is 34? Jesus Christ.
Harsh but it certainly happens a lot. It's refreshing to see how active Novytskyi is since he turned pro, I'd imagine that's Egis Klimas' doing.
Has anyone heard from Jared Anderson or Filip Hrgovic? I am worried about Hrgovic. I believe he sadly lost his dad and with the Dubois fight, it seems to have taken a lot out of him. If he has any motivation, i hope he can come back. Anderson is a decent fighter too. Overhyped, sure, but i am not going to completey write someone off after one loss.
