I been seeing this mentioned on websites and social media I would say it's a shame we didn't get one more big fight from Loma but it is nice to see a boxer retire with his health intact.

I don't think Lomachenko is going to retire just yet. I'm confident that we'll see him in at least one more meaningful fight. Hopefully against either Shakur or Tank.

He did not really fancy going out by being stopped ruthlessly by Gervonta “Tank” Davis understandably. It is what it is.

There is nothing left for him to prove really. Why bother continuing?

Pretty sure he can give us more excuses for future losses that were supposed to be wins.

I think he fights one more time, possibly a soft touch.

Not that it would matter, however. If he returned and defeated either Tank or Shakur, the same a-holes who criticized him his entire career will simply claim the former were never any good anyway.

Funny seeing all the idiot Tank fans claiming that Loma is ducking him when Tank has been ducking Loma for 8 years but has decided to find his nuts now that Loma is almost 40 years old.

    Indeed, MP.

Then again logic and consistency are not things I typically associate with the average Tank stan.

(And for the record, I actually think Tank is an exceptional talent who's squandering his career).

Yeah mate I am 100% the same I genuinely think that Tank is a P4P level fighter and I would back him to beat all his peers like Haney, Teo, Shakur and pretty much anyone for 135 to 140 but a prime Loma would've beaten him that is why he never fancied it until now.

And ‘Tank’ davis really didn’t fancy actually stepping in with prime Loma 5-6 years ago when he was calling germonta out left and right.

But now that Loma is 38 and visibly declined from his best… “Yeah I’ll fight ‘em!”

Another thing Germonta won’t like about a possible Loma fight is no forced rehydration bull**** like he did with Garcia. But Loma’s age would uneven things out good enough :)
