Oleksandr Usyk vs Tyson Fury II: who will you be rooting for?

I am team Fury this time around. I prefer divisions and fights to be as competitive as possible, so a Fury win would even it up and elevate other fighters in the division and this era as a whole.

 

I don’t understand the logic. Fury win elevates other fighters how? I’d have thought the opposite. Fury’s advantages are actually rare in the division

 

Because all of Fury's opponents are then rated higher as well, and in turn their opponents are rated slightly higher etc. The more competitive the top fighters are with each other the more it feeds down to everyone else.

If we had one fighter clearly dominate then it makes all the other fighters look a step down and weaker in comparison and overall. When people look back at this era they will think it was higher quality if Fury and Usyk are back and forth instead of Usyk just dominating everyone else.

 

No point playing nice, he should be looking to smash

I'm glad to see this from Fury. Win or lose he's going to bring it

 

That's some WWE level stuff there and I hate it. I have no doubt in my mind these two are super respectful and friendly away from the cameras. Get that money I guess.

What are your thoughts? Personally, I can't believe Turki called Usyk a freak. So disrespectful and I think Usyk should have told him to go **** himself and called him a few not so respectful names back.
