Floyd Patterson had a 40-4 amateur record. It took him 31 fights to get a title shot 177 pro rounds.

Julio Cesar Chavez had 43 fights before his first title shot, 174 pro rounds behind him. His amateur record was 18-4-2.

Itauma has 23 pro rounds and 24 amateur fights. He needs more rounds to mature. He's never going to get them knocking people out early fighting once or twice a year. He'll need to fight frequently or up his quality enough that he's fighting more rounds.
